Get the kids to help make this, healthy, banana chocolate treat. Fun to make and the end product is super tasty!
Prep time: 10 minutes
Chilling time: 30 minutes
4 ripe bananas
3 tbsp ground cashew nuts ( or hundreds and thousands if you’re feeling like a naughty treat).
170g milk chocolate
- 1. Peel the bananas and cut in half crossways. Insert a craft stick (or kebab skewer etc) into each half.
2. Melt the chocolate over a double boiler, stirring constantly.
3. Dip each banana half into the chocolate, making sure it is completely coated. Then immediately dip the chocolate coated bananas into the ground cashew nuts or sweet mix.
4. Place on a baking tray (be gentle!) that is lined with greaseproof paper and pop in the fridge for around 30 minutes.
